10. Jerry Lawler
The King will have been embarrassed for his arrest in 1993, simply because of the crime he was accused of. Thankfully his name was cleared and all charges were dropped after his ‘victim’ admitted to making false claims.
Indeed, Lawler was arrested back then after a 15-year-old girl accused Lawler of rape and sodomy. The King was brought in, but the girl was found out to be telling lies and he was subsequently released. The trouble is, something like that sticks with people in the public eye – he’d not hear the end of it for several years after as he wrestled across the country.
He was arrested again in 1999, though this story appears a little more humorous. Lawler was given a parking ticket by an officer, but he didn’t take too kindly to it and tore it up – right in the officer’s face. A kerfuffle ensued and Lawler ended up driving over the foot of the officer in question with his car.
